WALKING IN THE CINQUE TERRE
High above the picturesque harbour of Lerici sits the charming Doria Park Hotel. From here, the panorama of blue sky and mountains with multicoloured villas spilling down toward the shimmering ocean is breathtaking. A colourful parade winds along the shore below as villagers wander among the quaint shops and trattorie of the seaside villages.
Tailor-made walking tours of the Cinque Terre can also be arranged from here. Ask us to to arrange it for you.

Il Cielo is set in a hilltop village with spectacular views. The apartment and furniture has all been restored by the owners and retains the feel of the old borgo. There is small private garden, and wood-fired heating for the cooler seasons.
It is surrounded by spectacular walking country and maps are provided by the owner, who is a member of the Italian Alpine Club.

LA ROCCA - Ref. L4 - Sleeps 2
La Rocca is a gem of a house in one of the most sought-after locations on the Ligurian coast. The clifftop village of Montemarcello is on a headland overlooking both the Gulf of La Spezia and the Gulf of the Poets. It looks across to the Cinque Terre.
Ideal for walkers. The owner can supply maps of the Montemarcello Regional Park, which includes the village.

This area is a forgotten corner of Tuscany, with the advantage that Florence is less than an hour away, and the treasures of Ravenna and Faenza are within easy reach, as are the Adriatic beaches.
