MARKETS IN TUSCANY
Nearly every village in Tuscany has a market in the strees or in one the piazzas.
Most are full of stalls selling local fruit and vegetables, meat and fish.
Many have leather stalls as well, full of shoes, handbags and wallets.
When you are feling a bit tired, try a Porchetta pannino - slices of spit-roast suckling pig in a delicious freshly baked roll. The small roast chickens make a delicious, labour-free meal with some of the salad and lucious tomatoes you will have bought.
