Tenuta La Pieve
is an ancient agricultural estate streching across the Chianti hills of the Valdarno and Val di Chiana, equidistant from Florence, Siena and Arezzo.
Its original villa, Castello della Pieve, still lived in by the Marchese, goes back to 1250. After beng burned down by the Strozzis it was finely restored by expert craftsmen in the 1700's, and a beautiful Italian garden created, which is now surrounded by laurel hedges, along with the panoramic terrace overlooking the fields and the valleys full of vines and olive trees.
The farm estate has for years been producing organic extra virgin olive oil using biological cultivation techniques, as well as wine and grain.
Several clumps of old farm buildings have been restored to make beautiful spacious apartments. Each group of apartments is a completely separate settlement from the others, several minutes' drive in some cases, and each with its own large swimming pool.
The centre is the village of Pieve a Presciano, a short walk from all the apartments. There you will find a couple of shops, a bakery and a restaurant.
There is a farm shop down on the main road in the valley which is also the english-spaking reception. Nearly opposite is another good restaurant, just behind the petrol station.

CASALE PRESCIANO
The settlement of Casale Presciano consists of five apartments each with private space outside equipped with table and chairs for dining out. You look out over the vines towards the village of Presciano, a few minutes' walk away. Produce of the estate can be bought at the reception. Ideal location for visiting Florence, Arezzo and Siena, as well as the other beautiful smaller Tuscan towns.

dishwasher), a double bedroom, bathroom with shower.
Private pergola equipped with table and chairs for dining out.
- Apartment IL FIENILE: sleeps 4+2 - 90 sqm - It's on two levels. On the ground floor: living room, kitchen
equipped with oven, cooker, fridge and dishwasher, bathroom with shower. A double sofa bed is available in the
living room. On the first floor: a double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom with bath.
- Apartment FOCOLARE: sleeps 6+2 - 120 sqm First floor. Living room with fireplace, kitchen equipped with
oven, cooker, fridge and dishwasher, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and two bathrooms with bath.
Double sofa bed available in the living room.
- Apartment LE LOGGE: sleeps 2+2 - sqm 53 - Ground floor. Living room with a kitchen corner (oven, cooker,
fridge, dishwasher), a double bedroom, mezzanine floor with double sofa bed, bathroom with bath. Private
loggia furnished with table and chairs.
- Apartment IL VIGNETO: sleeps 4+2 - 90 sqm First floor. Living room with kitchen corner (oven, cooker, fridge
and dishwasher), one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Double sofa bed available in the living room.
Laundry at the guest's disposal (tokens to buy at the Reception) Barbecue and public telephone. Each apartment has got satellite tv.
