Casa Aurora is a lovely restored barn set in a panoramic position on top of a hill with fabulous views across the Sienese landscape, still retaining its rustic atmosphere.
It was divided into two apartments, but they are now only let together.

The ground floor consists of a living room with fire place and kitchen corner, one double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. French doors from the living room leads to the spacious covered porch with amazing views over the rolling sienese hills. It is furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining. There is a sofabed in the living room.

The first floor is reached by a traditional outside flight of steps. It comprises a room with a sofabed and small kitchen area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
There is also double sofa bed and satellite TV in the living room. Outside there is a a barbecue and laundry facilites

In the garden, there is a beautiful round swimming pool (9,20m diameter; 1.30m deep).

The owner is a rider in the Siena Palio so the his horse lives in the field near the house.

Casa Aurora is very well placed for visiting Siena (8 km away) and the surrounding historic towns like San Gimignano and Pienza.
